Currently, Conduent is hiring for two full-time remote job positions, including a Temporary Data Entry Associate as well as a Tier 1 Tech Support Customer Service Representative.
In order to be considered for the Temporary Data Entry Associate, you must reside within 30 miles of Sandy, Utah, but you will work from home Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm.
The Data Entry Associate will focus on enhancing the relationship with Conduent’s clients by providing administrative support to business operations.
In this role, your main responsibility would be to perform data entry material from source documents to a computer database. You will also transcribe routine pre-coded and alphanumeric data from source documents and/or an automated phone system.
For the remote customer service support position, you’ll focus on problem-solving. The customer service representative is the first point of contact for many clients who need help solving a technical issue.

Conduent Work From Home Requirements
For the Data Entry Associate position, you must live near Sandy, UT and have a high school diploma or GED. You must also be willing to undergo a criminal background check and drug test, and be available to work from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.
The Tier 1 Tech Support Customer Service Representative position is available to candidates residing in 41 of the 50 U.S. states. The only states where people are not eligible to apply include: Hawaii, Alaska, California, Florida, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Washington, and Georgia.
In order to do this job, you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
Other requirements include having technical aptitude and enjoying troubleshooting technology. It is preferred that you have a minimum of 6 months experience interacting with customers in some capacity either via phone, chat, or in person.
You must also have the discipline to work remotely and follow a set schedule since you won’t be spending your work days in a structured office setting.
It’s recommended that you have a quiet and distraction-free workspace that will allow you to meet the requirements of working remotely during your scheduled shift.
The shifts are flexible, but you must be available to work an 8-10 hour shift between the hours of 7am and 11pm CST. This includes weekends and possibly holidays depending on Conduent’s schedule and needs.
Other requirements for the customer service position include:
- Ability to manage several computer applications at once
- Understand the concepts of navigation, search engines, downloading music, and other web-based applications
- Experience using a smartphone, tablet, operating system, PC or Mac
- Ability to meet minimum typing speed of 25 WPM while talking to customers
- Successfully complete pre-employment assessments and pass federal criminal background check
Training
Have some customer service experience but don’t know much about technical support? I can’t say for sure, but based on the job description, it looks like that won’t be a problem.
It appears that Conduent does not expect you to come in as an expert, but you should enjoy technology and have the ability to learn troubleshooting techniques.
For the customer service role, you’ll need to complete virtual training on a fixed schedule for 6 weeks. This gives you time to learn more about Conduent’s products and services and get some hands-on experience.
The training schedule may include working nights or weekends.
Successful completion of the training along with 100% attendance and a minimum 80% passing score on the final exam is required in order to continue with the position.
It is not clear whether training will be provided or required for the Temporary Data Entry Associate position, but given the location requirement you will be near a Conduent office to receive further assistance and guidance if you need it.
