  • I am an LVN also went to surgical tech school but got a job in cardiac cath lab and passed for my RCIS. I have worked in cath lab and special radiology procedure area for 18 years. I recently moved to a rural area and because I need to be available to assist my mother at times I am looking for a stay at home job that I can do somewhat relating to my current skill set. I am willing to train in any area needed and would like either part time or full time work from home jobs.

  • I am currently an RN, BSN at DaVita Dialysis Centers, and have only been a nurse for approximately 2 1/2 years. I worked on a neuro/renal/medical unit for a year, in Corrections Medicine for 9 months, and in the ED just for a few months.     I am a Pediatric RN with 9 years of clinical experience. I am looking for an RN position that will allow me to work from home, so that I can live abroad. I would like to live outside the US, but continue to work as an RN and maintain an decent income. Does anyone know if this possible?
    I would have secure access to the internet and even a US based phone number that could be accessed from anywhere in the world (via Magic Jack).

I listed several companies that hire nurses, including for non-clinical positions where your experience will be valuable, and an active license may not be required. The companies that hire nurses for telephone triage do require an active license. You might also find ideas in online nursing communities and forums like allnurses.com. I hope this helps!
