TeleTech At Home

TeleTech@Home (TeleTech At Home) is the work-from-home division of the company, staffed by a United States-based workforce. TeleTech At Home associates help clients “manage their finances, trouble shoot issues with their Internet and cable, enroll in health and wellness programs, and research car purchases.”

If hired for TeleTech At Home, you’ll be a part-time employee. The work is project-based and varies depending on the client. Recruiters will work with you to determine the right project based on your skills, experience, and hours of availability.

Scheduling

Shifts are available 24 hours a day, and your schedule will consist of a 4-6 hour shift per day, based in part on your hours of availability (you will provide these during the application process), totaling 20 to 30 hours per week. You can expect some of those shifts to fall on the weekends and holidays for most clients.

If you are interested, and if there are additional work hours available, you may also be eligible to pick up additional hours.

Training

Paid training can range from a few days to several weeks depending on the client. A set schedule is provided for the training period, and during training, a set schedule is provided for your work hours.

Technical and Other Requirements

You need a personal computer with a minimum of a 17-inch monitor. Macs are not supported. One of the following operating systems is required: Windows Vista with Service Pack 2, Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, and Windows 8.1. All operating systems must have the latest updates and patches installed.  Windows 10 is not currently supported.

No telephone service is required for most projects, as TeleTech utilizes the internet for VOIP. If you are assigned a project where VOIP is used, you will need a headset compatible with TeleTech’s software.  You can learn more about TeleTech@Home technical requirements here.

TeleTech requires all employees to be at least 17 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.

Current and past employees give mixed reviews, but approximately half say they would recommend TeleTech to a friend, according to Glassdoor.

Hiring Process

To apply for Teletech At Home jobs, you are required to complete a MatchPoint assessment that measures skills, competencies, and aptitudes required for TeleTech positions. The MatchPoint assessment is part of the application process, so allow yourself at least an hour to complete both.

You must also make sure that your computer meets all of TeleTech’s requirements, and you might be required to pass a computer systems review.

If you will receive an e-mail notification stating that you did not pass the assessment, you can re-apply in 60 days.

If you are invited to continue the application process, you must complete and pass a background check and drug test.
